Leah is a licenced Immigration Consultant and is a member in good standing with the ICCRC (Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council). Leah holds a Master of Arts in History from Western University, a Bachelor of Arts combined Honors in History and Women’s Studies from King’s University College at Western University, and completed the University of British Columbia’s Immigration: Laws, Policies and Procedures program. In addition, Leah is a certified Change Management Practitioner and PMP (Project Management Professional), and is a member in good standing with the Project Management Institute.
Prior to founding IZAK Canada Immigration Consulting Inc., Leah spent over a decade in international education providing strategic direction and leadership for institutional internationalization. Her current consulting practice focuses on international education, helping educational providers increase and diversify revenue, develop student recruitment and marketing strategies, and streamline processes. In addition, her immigration firm delivers corporate Immigration Project/Program Management services providing subject matter expertise to senior leadership and HR teams.
Leah was born and raised in Canada. With a mixed heritage of both indigenous and immigrant ancestry, and after having lived overseas herself, Leah understands what it is like to be in a new country, with a new language, and starting over. From this perspective, she guides her individual clients to obtain the best possible results given current immigration options, and client goals.
