Leah Iszakovits RCIC, MA, PMP

Leah is a licenced Immigration Consultant and is a member in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants. Leah holds a Master of Arts in History from Western University, a Bachelor of Arts combined Honors in History and Women’s Studies from King’s University College at Western University, and completed the University of British Columbia’s Immigration: Laws, Policies and Procedures program. In addition, Leah is a certified Change Management Practitioner and PMP (Project Management Professional), and is a member in good standing with the Project Management Institute. 

Prior to founding IZAK Canada Immigration Consulting Inc., Leah spent over a decade in international education providing strategic direction and leadership for institutional internationalization. Her current consulting practice focuses on international education, helping educational providers increase and diversify revenue, develop student recruitment and marketing strategies, and streamline processes. In addition, her immigration firm delivers corporate Immigration Project/Program Management services providing subject matter expertise to senior leadership and HR teams. 

Leah was born and raised in Canada.  With a mixed heritage of both indigenous and immigrant ancestry,  and after having lived overseas herself, Leah understands what it is like to be in a new country, with a new language, and starting over. From this perspective, she guides her individual clients to obtain the best possible results given current immigration options, and client goals.

Mr. Zia Hasan is CEO & Lead Trainer of Zia’s Language Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, and Founding Principal of Zia Hasan International School located in Bangladesh. As a TESL certified Soft Skills Trainer, Zia has educated thousands of professionals from all walks of life and is passionate about teaching effective communication and interpersonal skills. 

Zia holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree and Master of Arts from Dhaka University. Zia furthered his studies overseas in the UK and has taught as a part time English Language Instructor with several organizations such as the US Embassy, Royal Danish Embassy, and High Commission of Canada in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

As a YouTube Silver Creator Award recipient, Zia is well known internationally and especially in South Asia through his channel “Zia Hasan.” After immigrating to Canada with his family as a permanent resident in 2017, Zia became motivated to inspire other people to embrace the immigration journey and he started a YouTube channel to promote Canadian life and culture through the eyes of an immigrant.

Zia is passionate about Canadian immigration and brings his Bangladesh business expertise to IZAK Immigration supporting business development initiatives.
